Want to get married at the CNE? Ontario couples can enter to win the ‘Marriage on the Midway’ contest

Marriage on the Midway
The “Marriage on the Midway” contest is now underway, and couples can submit their love stories to win an all-expense paid wedding celebration or vow renewal that will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23 at the CNE.Ìý

According to the , the vow ceremony will take place under the backdrop of the iconic Superwheel. The ceremony will also include a wedding photographer, and a wedding cake designed by a local bakery that partakes in the CNE’s Cake Decorating Competition, so don’t worry about breaking the bank for your big day.Ìý
The winning couple, along with 20 of their invited guests, will also have access to free, unlimited rides on the day of, as well as $500 in food vouchers, and reserved seating for the Bell CNE Bandshell, where 98 Degrees will perform their wedding ballad, “I Do (Cherish You).”

This contest is now open to Ontario residents ages 18 and above until Aug. 8 at 11:59 p.m. local time. The winning couple will be announced on Aug. 15, just under a week away from tying the knot.

Couples can register by visiting , where you will be prompted to fill out contact information, along with ceremony details that include which type of ceremony.Ìý
Additionally, you’ll have to submit your love story and why you’d like to celebrate your vows at the CNE this summer, as well as a photo of yourself and your partner.
