Discovery Harbour
The roots of Discovery Harbour date back to 1793, when Sir John Graves Simcoe scouted Penetanguishene Bay as a strategic site for a naval base. This summer the harbour is inviting thrill seekers and history lovers to Supernatural Saturdays. From June 28 to Aug. 30, visitors can participate in three eerie experiences.
Ghost Stories:
You can relive spine-chilling tales based on actual unexplained mysteries and phenomena while walking through the 19th-century naval and military site by lantern light.
Bo’sun’s Brig: Escape Room
Try to escape Discovery Harbour’s historic prison by solving enigmatic puzzles and mysteries. With just one hour to escape, it’s a race against time.
Secrets of Séance
Step into the powerful world of 1800s spiritualism inside a Victorian parlour. Witness a live seance — as well as the secrets behind the magic in this expertly designed immersive experience.

Kings Wharf Theatre
Nestled by the tranquil waterside, the historic theatre is home to Drayton Entertainment who host a variety of shows and musicals for you to enjoy. Until July 5, check out “The Full Monty.†Based on the cult hit film of the same name, this 10-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy will have you laughing and cheering all the way to its revealing ending. From July 9 to Aug. 2, “Beehive: The 60s Musical†will feature hits from Janis Joplin, The Shirelles, the Supremes and Aretha Franklin.

Captain Roberts Table
Located at Discovery Harbour, the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving up a unique menu including burgers, pasta, beer can chicken, sandwiches and much more.
Captain Roberts Table is open from 8 a.m., to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday. On Sunday, the brunch buffet is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner from 4 to 7 p.m.

Pier 21
Heading to the theatre or hungry after a day of fun, head to Pier 21, located on in Penetanguishene. Enjoy their exciting menu, including souvlaki, halibut or pickerel in their cosy dining room served with a side of waterfront charm. The restaurant is open 4 to 9 p.m., Wednesday to Sunday.
