• The New Age Health Food store was a downtown staple serving the community since 1983. The mission was to provide accessible and affordable health and wellness products in a one-stop-shop.
• New Age moved to and has been open for business since May 26 in the same plaza as Sylvan Learning. It is rebranded as New Age Health + Wellness.
• The store still offers a range of natural health supplements, skin care products, sports nutrition, a small selection of natural foods and more. Keep an eye out for new local products hitting the shelves.
• They also have free delivery in öÏÓãÊÓƵapp for orders over $50. You can call them to order at 519-763-0763 or email at sales@newagehealthfood.com. Orders can be made online soon, when the new website is ready this week.
• The store is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
• Owner Shelina Lalani said she plans to continue the store’s mission and vision while honouring the memory of her late life partner Vahid Walji, who owned the store since 1995.
