A öÏÓãÊÓƵapp man has won the top prize from an Instant Super Strike scratch lottery game.
David Hodge is $50,000 richer after picking a winning ticket.
The machine operator has played the lottery with OLG for 35 years, usually Lotto Max, Lotto 6-49 and a variety of Instant tickets.Â

“I was at home when I played my ticket and uncovered a $50,000 win,†Hodge said in an OLG press release. “I was so shocked and excited.â€Â
The following day, after validating his ticket at the store, Hodge called his daughter to share the incredible news.

“She was thrilled and congratulated me. I also told my coworkers, and it took them a couple days to believe it was real. When they finally did, they all expressed their congratulations.â€
With his prize, Hodge plans to pay some bills and invest for his retirement.

“This win relieves some financial pressure and will help me to live an easier life. Being a winner is a very nice feeling,†he said.
